The Growers Shoalhaven

Located where the coast meets country, The Growers is a large scale farm-to-plate eatery located on the South Sydney Coast.

Established in November of 2020, The Growers continues the long history of supporting locally produced food, wine, and seafood in the greater Shoalhaven Region. With inviting spaces flooded with natural lighting, natural timbers and a casual homely atmosphere, The Growers can host up to 450 guests in multiple indoor and outdoor dining areas. Surrounding the newly constructed facilities are countless herb and vegetable beds supplying the bustling kitchen with fresh ingredients and unique menu options.

Working in collaboration with Pony Design, Identity Furniture supplied The Growers with 447 pieces of custom furniture.

Our extensive custom work included:

• Barrett Communal Tables with slatted Blackbutt tabletop with feature ‘Wharf Deck’ screw head fixings and steel trestle style base with a powdercoated finish.

• Custom Hawthorn Drybars with rustic hardwood tabletop in charred ash stained finish and feature fabricated ‘V’ steel frame in a black powdercoated finish.

• Province Tables with solid Victorian Ash construction in a charred ash finish with black filler applied to natural gum veins and steel high socks in a Surfmist powdercoated finish.

• Jackaroo Tables with charred ash stained solid Victorian Ash frame and tabletop, profiled edge and turned profile legs.

• Hawthorn Timber Drybars with charred ash stained rustic hardwood frame and tabletop with black filler applied to natural gum veins.

• Perry Slatted Tables with slatted Spotted Gum tabletop with an outdoor oiled finish, umbrella hole, and zinc-plated steel frame in a Surfmist powdercoated finish.

• Kios Tables with thick slatted Spotted Gum tabletop oiled in an outdoor finish, inset into a metal edge with radius corners, and zinc-plated steel frame in a Surfmist powdercoated finish.

• Belluci Tables with a solid American Oak top in charred ash stained finish and custom fabricated base in a Surfmist powdercoated finish.

• Telegraph Side Tables turned from recycled Australian hardwood telephone poles in an outdoor oiled finish with custom laminate table tops.

• Hey Round Table with a European Oak frame and tabletop in a charred ash stained finish.

• Roman Bench Seats with a solid American Oak frame and round legs in a charred ash stained finish, re-enforced with a steel connection frame in a Surfmist powdercoated finish.

• Excelsior Wingback Lounges with a solid hardwood frame in a charred ash stained finish, outer back & side piping, and custom upholstery.

• Fender Barchairs with charred ash stained European beech bentwood frame and custom upholstered seat pad.

• Fender Outdoor Chairs with a clear weather resistant barrier applied to charred ash stained European beech bentwood frames.

• Henrietta Barchair with charred ash stained European beech frame with custom upholstered seat pad.

• Benko Chairs with charred ash stained European beech frames with woven cane backrest and custom upholstered seat pad.

• Giglio X Chairs with charred ash stained European beech frames with woven Rattan cane seat.

• Wand Chairs with charred ash stained European beech frames and custom upholstered seat pad.

• Tico Chairs with UV stabilised Poly-Rattan woven seat and backrest with a black powdercoated stainless steel frame.

• Stecca Armchairs with an aluminium tube frame and slates with a custom cream powdercoated finish.

• Stecca Chairs with an aluminium tube frame and slats powdercoated in a custom cream powdercoated finish.

• Lansing Sofa with an internal welded steel frame, UV stabilised Poly-Rattan woven backrest, and custom upholstered seat cushion.

• Serenalla Chairs with an outdoor-friendly white powdercoated finish on welded steel frames and custom upholstered removable outdoor seat cushions.

• Lean Lounges with galvanised welded steel frames in a black finish, UV stabilised Poly-Rattan woven backrest, and custom upholstered seat pad.
