Nestled inside the recently revamped MLC Centre is Cabana Bar, a brand new inner-city oasis.
Cabana Bar is a slice of tropicana with a sprawling terrace overlooking Martin Place, offering a relaxing haven in the predominantly grey, concrete, and busy city centre. Tilley & Wills Hotels selected Luchetti Krelle to design the space including two bars, semi-private dining and one of Sydney’s largest outdoor terraces.
Luchetti Krelle, influenced by South American styling, designed a space that was classy, yet playful. Inside, the venue is a breath of fresh air with open terraces, lush greenery, and soft pastel colours with gold highlights. A vast proportion of the venue is exposed to Sydney’s pleasant, albeit, often unpredictable weather, making furniture selection vital.
Luchetti Krelle entrusted Identity Furniture to design, build and supply the following pieces:
• Columbus Tables with Classic Ceramics Vogue Cipria Satin border tiles, and Tile Vogue Seta Satin infill tiles, secured to a metal base and edge powder coated in Dulux Electro Sensational Champagne Flat.
• Ruse Drybars with a Polytec Blossom White compact laminate top, rounded edges, castor wheels, and a zinc-coated mild steel base powder coated in Dulux Zeus Canvas Cloth Satin.
• Disc Twin Tables with a Tasmanian Oak top with rounded corners and black powdercoated steel base.
• Tiled Disc Drybars with a custom penny round tiled top with powder coated metal banded edge and base in Dulux Zeus White.
• Disc Drybars with a thick veneer top with a solid Tasmanian Oak edge and brass plated base.
• Disc Round Tables with a Forbo Marmoleum Piano Angora top with rounded edges and a brass trim edge and a brass plated steel base.
• Disc Tables with a Polytec Oyster Grey compact laminate top with a custom disc base with a zinc-coated steel base powder coated in Dulux Zeus White.
• Bold Twin Tables with a Polytec Blossom White compact laminate top and twin outdoor base with a Dulux Electro Sensational Champagne powder coated finish.
• Belluci Low Tables with a Polytec Blossom White compact laminate top with a zinc-coated steel rod base powder coated in Dulux Electro Sensational Champagne Flat.
• Hawthorn Steel Drybars with a Polytec Blossom White compact laminate top with underside hooks secured to a zinc-coated steel frame powder coated in Dulux Zeus White Satin.
• Hawthorn Steel Round Drybars with a Polytec Blossom White Compact Laminate top and zinc-coated steel frame powder coated in Dulux Zeus White Satin.
• Nolita 3658 Barchairs with a steel frame powdercoated in white and custom brown powder.
