In 1919, the Frankston RSL held a historic inaugural meeting, with early members including the likes of Prime Minister Stanley Bruce, Major General Grimwade and Doctor Charles Maxwell. With the rapid growth of the Frankston community, the RSL expanded with the purchasing of land on Cranbourne Road to construct a larger facility, where it resides presently.
With a history spanning over 100 years, the Frankston RSL entrusted BSPN Architecture to redevelop its facilities to best serve the broader Frankston community. The newly refurbished spaces included a new reception area, bar & bistro, alfresco, sports bar, and cafe, with Identity Furniture supplying over 335+ custom pieces.
