The Entrance Social Club

Formerly known as the Entrance Hotel, the newly refurbished Entrance Social Club is a new entertainment hub and eatery with beautiful waterfront views.

The venue, owned by Andrew Thomas, undertook a multi-million dollar makeover across three years which also involved a rebrand. Pony Design Co. was appointed to lead the Entrance Social Club’s refurbishment. The bottom floor is home to Taffy’s Bar, a new take on a sports bar featuring retro games, pop-culture icons, and regular trivia and gaming competitions. Upstairs is Mrs May’s Bistro and Bar, a sophisticated dining space with curvy couches, brass detailing, walnut-finished timbers, and a cosy fireplace.

Identity Furniture designed, constructed and supplied over 299 pieces of custom furniture including:

• Pier Tables with a Lamitak Urban Slate laminate top inset into a steel edge secured to a four-column steel disc base in a powdercoated finish.

• Pier Twin Tables with a custom inset tiled top featuring a Minokoyo tiled top with dark epoxy grout secured to a six-column steel oval base in a powdercoated finish.

• Kios Rectangle Drybars with a Marmoleum Lava top inset into a steel edge secured to a steel base in a powdercoated finish.

• Kios Square Drybars with a Marmoleum Lava top inset into a steel edge secured to a steel base in a powdercoated finish.

• Step Drybars with a Lamitak Cafe Fustina laminate top inset into a raw brass edge and secured to a cast iron base in a powdercoated finish.

• Step Tables with an Abet Laminati Samara Avorio Climb top inset into a raw brass edge and secured to a cast iron base in a powdercoated finish.

• Barrett Tables with a slatted Modwood composite top secured to a welded aluminium frame in a Dulux Surfmist powdercoated finish.

• Punchbowl Low Tables with a solid Victorian Ash frame, solid brass frame, and Victorian Ash top with a chamfered edge.

• Columbus Tiled Table featuring Minokoyo 88690 tiles with epoxy grout inset into a metal edge and secured to a welded stainless steel base in a Dulux Surfmist powdercoated finish.

• Custom Tiled Table with a Victorian Ash frame featuring an Academy Tiles Revwall tiled inlay inset into a solid brass edge.

• Custom Tiled Tables featuring Minokoyo 88690 tiles inset into a metal edge and secured to a welded aluminium base in a powdercoated finish.

• Ikon 865 Table with an offset white core compact laminate top and moulded polypropylene frame.

• Inox Drybars featuring a solid American Oak top secured to a cast iron base in a powdercoated finish.

• Custom Sofa with a staggered internal timber frame and high-density foam fully upholstered in Zepel Insigna Ivory fabric and Warwick Cruze Nougat piping.

• Custom Baroque U Shape Sofas with an internal timber frame fully upholstered in James Dunlop Mokum Canvas Monochrome fabric and At Work Maranello Black vinyl with detail stitching, and external steel base and ladder powdercoated in Dulux Mannex Black.

• Custom Baroque L Shape Sofas with an internal timber frame fully upholstered in James Dunlop Mokum Canvas Monochrome fabric and At Work Maranello Black vinyl with detail stitching, and external steel base and ladder powdercoated in Dulux Mannex Black.

• Reva Twist Sofa with a woven rope backrest, cushions upholstered in Sunbrella Blend Clay and Mokum Topicala fabric and aluminium frame in a Terracotta powdercoated finish.

• Zero Barstools with an upholstered seat in Warwick Eastwood Brunswick and steel frame powdercoated in a black finish.

• Sun Chairs with a steel frame in a black powdercoated finish and upholstered seat pad in Zepel Tanning Putty vinyl.
