Located at the top of the Bankstown Flinders Centre is the playful Lady Banks Rooftop Bar.
Lady Dorothea Banks, the muse of 18th-century naturalist Sir Joseph Banks, who sailed for Australia with Captain James Cook in 1768, inspired the venue’s name. The dining experience, designed by Pony Design Co, has open-air terraces with spectacular views of the Sydney CBD skyline and the Blue Mountains while an enclosed dining and bar area offers an intimate setting warmed by a central fireplace. Locals in Bankstown have praised the venue, stating the “open fire and ambience is beautiful” with an “atmosphere that was unlike anything experienced anywhere in the Bankstown area”. Bankstown Sports Group CEO, Mark Condi, has even proclaimed the “Lady Banks Rooftop Bar is the pièce de résistance of The Flinders Centre”.
Working closely with Pony Design, Identity Furniture designed custom pieces suitable for exterior environments with key elements including contemporary tiled tabletops, slatted Spotted Gum surfaces, rustic timber low stools and industrial concrete tables.

• Ivanhoe Tiled Drybars with a custom tiled tabletop inset into a steel edge with solid Spotted Gum radial end sections secured to zinc-coated square steel section legs powdercoated in a black finish.
• Lunar Tiled Drybars with a custom tiled tabletop inset into a steel edge secured to a zinc-plated solid steel rod frame powdercoated in Dulux Duralloy Weathered Copper Matt.
• Lunar Tiled Tables with a custom tiled tabletop inset into a steel edge secured to a zinc-plated solid steel rod frame powdercoated in Dulux Duralloy Weathered Copper Matt.
• Lunar Slatted Drybars with an oiled slatted Spotted Gum top secured to a solid steel rod frame in a Dulux Duralloy Weathered Copper Matt.
• Lunar Slatted Tables with an oiled slatted Spotted Gum top secured to solid steel rod frame in a Marrone Goffrato MG powdercoated finish.
• Lunar Outdoor Slatted Tables with an oiled slatted Spotted Gum top secured to a zinc-plated solid steel rod frame powdercoated in a Dulux Duralloy Weathered Copper Matt.
• Custom Cylinder Base Twin Tables with a Caesarstone Wild Rice radial top secured to a steel frame with twin large cylinder bases powdercoated in Dulux Black Ace.

• Pool Low Tables with an oiled slatted Spotted Gum top inset into a metal edge and zinc-plated steel frame powdercoated in Dulux Black Ace.

• Haven Banquettes with large rounded corner cushions upholstered in Zepel Octavia Chinchilla and Raven fabrics with matching piping, scatter pillows and a round steel tube frame powdercoated in Dulux Black Ace.
• Slatted Park Bench Banquettes with an oiled slatted Spotted Gum seat and back secured to a zinc-plated steel frame with a Surfmist powdercoated finish.
• Telegraph Stools constructed from solid Australian hardwood and oiled in an outdoor finish.
• Curve Lounges with an aluminium frame with PVC wicker material powdercoated in a natural finish.
• Spaghetti Sofas with cushions upholstered in Sunbrella Dupione Sand, woven taupe flat rope back and arms, and a welded steel frame powdercoated in a taupe finish.
• Coco Barchairs with a solid European Beech frame with a veneer back stained to match Spotted Gum and upholstered seat in a Warwick Eastwood Tan vinyl.
• Tribeca Barchairs woven cord seat and backrest on a steel frame powdercoated in a Bianco finish.
• Tribeca Chairs with woven cord seat and backrest on a steel frame powdercoated in a terracotta finish.
• Intrigo Chairs with an extruded aluminium frame and seat powdercoated in an MGE finish.
• Outdoor Cushions fully upholstered in outdoor fabric and filled with an outdoor mould resistant foam.
• Custom Waiters Stations with oiled Spotted Gum doors, shelves and drawers, heavy-duty swivel castor wheels and steel frame zinc-primed and powdercoated in Dulux Shoji White.
