Located in the leafy Northern Suburbs of NSW resides the well regarded Hunters Hill Hotel, the prestigious winner of the AHA Best Casual Venue award .
Previously owned and redeveloped by the Iris Group, the original design of the venue paid homage to the art deco heritage of the building. Acquired by the Gallagher Hotel Group in 2017, the venue would slowly transform over time with a major refurbishment taking place in early 2020. The Hunters Hill Hotel entrusted TRD Studio to re-design the venue to be casual, welcoming, and vibrant while retaining the art deco spirit at the heart of the venue. As part of the refurbishment, the function room, public bar, courtyard, terrace, veranda, private bar, and bistro were redeveloped with furniture from Identity Furniture.
In total, 539 pieces of custom furniture were supplied to the Hunters Hill Hotel with special attention to art deco design principles such as metallic brass finishes, polished and lacquered timbers, and softly-toned and plush upholstery.
