Sporting Legends in Sale has been transformed by BSPN Architecture into a vibrant, contemporary venue that celebrates both community and hospitality. The refreshed design combines warmth and sophistication, offering members and guests an inviting place to gather, dine, and connect.

Identity Furniture was proud to contribute a wide range of bespoke furniture, carefully tailored to complement BSPN’s design vision. This included custom chairs, armchairs, and bar chairs, as well as built-in booths and L-shaped dry bars designed to maximise comfort and functionality. Both indoor and outdoor areas were furnished with durable, high-quality pieces, ensuring the venue is as versatile as it is welcoming.

The result is a modern and stylish destination that balances functionality with atmosphere, perfectly suited to its role as a central hub for the Sale community.

Box Hill RSL

Box Hill RSL has been thoughtfully reimagined by BSPN Architecture, delivering a contemporary, welcoming space that reflects the club’s proud history and strong sense of community. The design captures a balance between sophistication and comfort, creating an environment where members and guests can relax, connect, and enjoy the club’s offerings.

Identity Furniture was engaged to craft bespoke furniture that seamlessly integrates with BSPN’s design vision. This included custom lounge chairs, bar chairs, and tables with granite tops and low tables that enhance flexibility and comfort throughout the venue. Each piece was designed and manufactured locally to ensure both quality and durability, while aligning perfectly with the refined material palette.

The result is a refreshed venue that feels modern yet timeless, showcasing BSPN’s considered approach to hospitality design and the enduring role Box Hill RSL plays in its community.

Knox Club

Located in Wantirna, the Knox Club has long offered a well-regarded variety of dining experiences, and social facilities to the public and members alike.

In early 2020, the Knox Club selected BSPN Architecture to update, refresh and modernise the existing facilities, as well as the addition of new member and public spaces. Thorough in scope, the refurbishment involved a new gaming area, cafe, bistro, bar, TAB, and private member’s lounge, bar and outdoor patio. A brand new outdoor terrace was also designed and constructed with the help of DBG Projects. The venue officially re-opened on the 11th of November 2020, with patrons complimenting the new refurbishments and renovations as ‘light and spacious’.

Identity Furniture worked collaboratively with BSPN Architecture to deliver over 221+ pieces from leading European brands such as Pedrali and Colos, and custom-made pieces from our Melbourne workshop:

• Malmo Armchairs with a European Ash frame in a black stained finish, ply-moulded shell and custom Baresque vinyl upholstery.

• Malmo Chairs with a European Ash frame in a black stained finish, ply-moulded shell and custom Maharam and Laine vinyl upholstery.

• Annette L5 Tub Chairs with European Ash frame in a black stained finish and custom Maharam fabric upholstery.

• Sixty L31 Lounges with a moulded urethane shell, steel internal frame, stained European beech legs, and custom Camira upholstery.

• Dome 260 Chairs with black moulded polypropylene construction.

• Dome 268 Barstools with black moulded polypropylene construction.

• Cylinder Ottomans with internal timber frame upholstered in Maharam fabric and custom plinth powdercoated in a brass-look finish.

• Dixie Chairs with European beech frame in a stained finish, backrest upholstered in Zepel fabric, and seat upholstered in Laine vinyl.

• Dixie Arm Barchairs with European beech frame in a stained finish, chrome-plated steel footrest, backrest upholstered in Zepel fabric, and seat upholstered in Laine vinyl.

• Dixie Barchairs with European beech frame in a stained finish, chrome-plated steel footrest, backrest upholstered in Zepel fabric, and seat upholstered in Laine vinyl.

• Candy Lounges with European beech legs in a stained finish and fully upholstered in Zepel fabric.

• Stecca Chairs with aluminium tube frame and slats in a black outdoor powdercoated finish.

• Stecca Armchairs with aluminium tube frame and slats in a dark blue outdoor powdercoated finish.

• Baroque Booth Seats with a solid Victorian Ash frame in a stained finish and high-density foam upholstered in a Baresque vinyl.

• Perry Drybars with Peppercorn Ash laminate top with matching ABS edging and custom fabricated steel frame in an outdoor powdercoated finish.

• Custom Twin Disc Tables with Corrado Noce Roma laminate top with matching ABS edging and custom steel base in a black powdercoated finish.
