The Walrus Club | Regatta Hotel

Located in the lower levels of the Regatta Hotel, The Walrus Club is a speakeasy bar that provides an intriguing and inviting atmosphere. This hidden venue offers guests a unique experience, and Identity Furniture is proud to have contributed to its distinct ambiance.

Our partnership with The Walrus Club involved supplying custom-made furniture, designed to match the venue’s prohibition-era aesthetic. Our octogen-shaped tables with toughened glass tops demonstrate our commitment to quality and innovative design. These unique pieces add a refined touch to the space, while their strong build ensures durability.

In addition to this, we provided dark walnut stained tables that integrate smoothly with the vintage decor. Complemented by our comfortable and stylish Zero barstools, this combination highlights our dedication to high-quality, aesthetically pleasing furniture solutions.

At Identity Furniture, we pride ourselves on crafting pieces that meet functional needs while significantly contributing to the overall aesthetics of a space. The furniture we supplied to The Walrus Club perfectly embodies this mission—creating inviting atmospheres through excellent design.

Cabana Bar

Nestled inside the recently revamped MLC Centre is Cabana Bar, a brand new inner-city oasis.

Cabana Bar is a slice of tropicana with a sprawling terrace overlooking Martin Place, offering a relaxing haven in the predominantly grey, concrete, and busy city centre. Tilley & Wills Hotels selected Luchetti Krelle to design the space including two bars, semi-private dining and one of Sydney’s largest outdoor terraces.

Luchetti Krelle, influenced by South American styling, designed a space that was classy, yet playful. Inside, the venue is a breath of fresh air with open terraces, lush greenery, and soft pastel colours with gold highlights. A vast proportion of the venue is exposed to Sydney’s pleasant, albeit, often unpredictable weather, making furniture selection vital.

Luchetti Krelle entrusted Identity Furniture to design, build and supply the following pieces:

• Columbus Tables with Classic Ceramics Vogue Cipria Satin border tiles, and Tile Vogue Seta Satin infill tiles, secured to a metal base and edge powder coated in Dulux Electro Sensational Champagne Flat.

Lady Banks Rooftop Bar

Located at the top of the Bankstown Flinders Centre is the playful Lady Banks Rooftop Bar.

Lady Dorothea Banks, the muse of 18th-century naturalist Sir Joseph Banks, who sailed for Australia with Captain James Cook in 1768, inspired the venue’s name. The dining experience, designed by Pony Design Co, has open-air terraces with spectacular views of the Sydney CBD skyline and the Blue Mountains while an enclosed dining and bar area offers an intimate setting warmed by a central fireplace. Locals in Bankstown have praised the venue, stating the “open fire and ambience is beautiful” with an “atmosphere that was unlike anything experienced anywhere in the Bankstown area”. Bankstown Sports Group CEO, Mark Condi, has even proclaimed the “Lady Banks Rooftop Bar is the pièce de résistance of The Flinders Centre”.
